The Coating
The Membrane Behind the Program
PreVent MX is built on a plural-component pure polyurea. The two components react on contact with the surface, forming a seamless elastomer in a single visit — no primer coat, no multi-day cure schedule, no solvent flash-off that shuts down a garage bay. Because the film is 100% solids, the thickness that hits the steel is the thickness that protects it: 40 mils on general surfaces, 60 mils where brine, fertilizer or gravel exposure governs.
Against the oil- and wax-based annual treatments common in fleet garages, the difference is category, not degree. Oils migrate, drip onto shop floors, and rinse off through a season of washdowns — that is why they are sold as subscriptions. A cross-linked membrane is a one-time capital improvement to the asset.
